Who can enter the competition?
Anyone between the ages of 12 and 99 can enter the competition.
What kind of people will I be competing against?
You will be competing against performers of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and skill levels from beginner to professional. Contestants of varying experience perform a variety of artistic genres including but not limited to the following: music, dance, comedy, magic, drama, poetry, and performance art.
What is the judging criteria?
Contestants will be judged on the following criteria:
-Performance skill and ability
-Audience engagement
-Stage presence
-Originality
-Presentation and appearance

What are the Talent Quest rules and guidelines?
*Each heat will have up to ten contestants
*Each contestant has a maximum of 10 minutes to perform any piece of their choice at The Beauchamp Hotel, 265-267 Oxford St, Darlinghurst
* 2 contestants from each heat will progress to the finals (people's choice winner and highest final overall score from judges' vote) wherein 12 finalists battle it out to win a cash prize of $1000

Is there an entry or registration fee?
Entry fee is $5 for performers and guests.
Contestants are urged to bring as many friends as they can to support them as there is a people's choice vote in addition to the judging panel, giving everyone an extra chance to proceed to the finals for the $1000 cash prize!
